This calligraphic artwork is written in Hebrew, and was created to transmit the message of PEACE into the Millennium.

THE CIRCLE  a ring with no beginning and no end, represents unity and perfection. It includes twelve lions, the lion a symbol of strength and courage, wishing for a STRONG and EVERLASTING PEACE. Also included six Oriental Stars, each one of them contains a different symbol and represents a different kind of PEACE, be it the TWO RINGS, wishing Peace in the family. The Shabbat Candles with the wishes for Shabbat Shalom ( a Peaceful Sabbath). The two Cohanim ( Priests ) hands in a gesture of blessing the individual, national or the international, for PEACE. The bottle of  wine, we drink and toast  with  wine for PEACE , to mention only a few. 

THE STAR OF DAVID 

From The Star, twelve yellow-orange rays shine upon the Biblical text, directing the eye of the viewer to the center which contains  the word  PEACE in three languages: PEACE  in English,  SHALOM  in Hebrew,   and  SAALAM  in Arabic.·        Note that the design of the Italic English letters were chosen in order to compliment the Hebrew cursive writing. In the word Shalom the letter “ SHIN” resembles the English letter “E”,  and the letter  “ MEM” in the end of Shalom resembles the Capital Italic ”P”. These three words are executed in raised  24 K Gold Leaf.

THE BACKGROUND: The Hebrew text written in different shades of blue, are verses from the Old Testament which include, or convey the message of  PEACE. Whenever the word PEACE, SHALOM  in Hebrew, is mentioned this word is written in gold, creating a woven pattern of  “PEACE.”
