LISBON Like most of my Judaica commissioned art, which are not written in black ink, this bar mitzvah Haftora text is written in purple. Some of the verses that have special meaning are emphasized in large red letters. The Bar Mitzvah boy chose "Beasts" from the 500 year old Lisbon Bible. The words coming out of the beast's mouth are the prayers a child recites after reading the Haftarah (written in gold colour).
