This Ketubbah was commissioned and created as  a marriage contact as well as a teaching tool for future generation. 

The text divided to 3 parts:

a) Hebrew/Aramaic  Orthodox  text

b) translation of the text to English

c) explanation of the text

The text is written on the artists hand made "parchment" background in three shades of olive green.

The inner frame is created with tradition blessing for the married couple, in the alphabetical order. 

The illumination consist of the Seven Species with which the Holy Land of Israel was blessed. Some of the elements are emphasized by the use of 23KGold leaf.

The two upper corners are decorated with doves, symbolizing peace. In between the verse : " Ani Le'Dodi Ve'Dodi Li"  The lower corners are decorated with Lions of Judea symbolizing courage and strength, in between are the two rings intertwined in union, the Menorah, and the Shabbat table . Reminding us the connection to the Jewish Land,  the rituals and traditions of the Jewish people.
